On 21st February 2024, our team embarked on an extraordinary journey to participate in the prestigious Hult Prize competition, a global platform known for fostering innovation and social entrepreneurship. The event was held at the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus at UTSG and brought together some of the brightest minds in the university to share their purpose and vision of their startup. The focus was on presenting how each startup is tackling the challenge chosen and their scalable solutions to the judges.
As we arrived at the venue, there was an electric buzz in the air , full of anticipation and excitement. Nine teams presented, each with innovative ideas and unwavering determination in showcasing their projects. The day commenced with a speech by William To, the Program Manager at the Centre of Entrepreneurship, who introduced the judges and teams to the audience.
The companies that presented ranged from EduTech, water purification, and career coaching. Luca Hategan, our co-founder and Chief Development Officer, gave a presentation that was memorable and certainly left a good impression on the judges. To the delight of our team, we were announced as the second-place winners of the Hult Prize competition! The feeling of joy and accomplishment washed over us and was indescribable. It was testament to the hard work, dedication, and unwavering belief of our company.
We hope to move forward in the next stages of the Hult Prize Competition that take place in Boston this year!
